BaoSub ได้รับการออกแบบโดยยึดความเป็นส่วนตัวของผู้ใช้เป็นหลัก นโยบายความเป็นส่วนตัวนี้จะอธิบายถึงประเภทข้อมูลที่ส่วนขยายประมวลผลและประเภทข้อมูลที่ไม่มีการเก็บรวบรวม

2. ข้อมูลการตั้งค่าที่จัดเก็บในเบราว์เซอร์ของคุณ

7. การเปลี่ยนแปลงนโยบายนี้

Privacy Policy

BaoSub is designed with user privacy first. This Privacy Policy explains what kinds of data the Extension processes and what it does not collect.
1. Data We Do Not Collect
BaoSub does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:
- Personal identifiers such as your name, email, account information, or passwords
- Browsing history or URLs of the pages you visit
- Subtitle content of the videos you watch
- Analytics, telemetry, or behavioral tracking of any kind
- Cookies created by the Extension itself
2. Settings Stored in Your Browser
BaoSub stores the following in your browser via Chrome's chrome.storage.sync API. BaoSub does not send this data to any BaoSub server or any third party:
- Your personal display settings and preferences (which subtitle lines are enabled, font size, position, background opacity, the settings panel language, and the main on/off state)
If you are signed in to Chrome with browser sync enabled, Chrome may sync these settings across your devices through your Google account. This is a mechanism of the Chrome browser itself, controlled from Chrome's sync settings — the BaoSub extension never transmits any data on its own.
You can delete these settings at any time by uninstalling the extension from Chrome.
3. Subtitle Processing
The Extension accesses and processes subtitle files that the streaming site (such as iq.com) delivers to your browser, in order to render the 3-line overlay. All of this processing happens entirely on your device. Pinyin is generated locally by the bundled pinyin-pro library, and no subtitle data is ever sent to any BaoSub server.
4. Permissions Used
BaoSub requests only the Chrome permissions it needs to function:
- Host permissions for iq.com — to observe subtitle network requests and render the overlay on the page
- Storage — to save your settings and preferences locally
5. Third-Party Services
BaoSub does not integrate any external analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The subtitles it renders come directly from the streaming site you are visiting and are governed by that site's own privacy policy.
6. Children's Privacy
BaoSub is a general-audience tool and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children.
7. Changes to This Policy
If this Privacy Policy is updated, the new version will be published at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.
